Biography

Kevan is an Oakland California based Writer, Poet, and Screenwriter. He graduated from St. Mary's College of CA with a dual baccalaureate in English and History, and a Minor in Japanese in 2000.

While working at Pixar Animation Studios as a Production Assistant for the Incredibles and Ratatouille films, and later as a Facilities Operations Technician for the Cars, Wall-E, Toy Story 3, Brave, and Up films, he quickly discovered the art of screenwriting and film development in the Pixar University education system.

During his time at Pixar, Kevan was a production assistant for multiple Pixar University student films. These films, Violet, and Calendar Confloption were developed and release to independent film festivals. He also wrote, directed, and edited his own short film, Que Linda, for Pixar University's 12 hour film production course.

He has since volunteered with Scary Cow Productions as a Screenwriting Assistant, and Production Assistant.  He worked as a production assistant and gaffer for the Autumn Rose Deep Red short film. He has since written seven feature screenplays; published a book of poetry in 2012; and is currently writing his first fantasy novel series.

You can find his works on such websites as inktip.com, fanstory.com, and blklist.com.  His poetry has been published in multiple poetry books.  Or his own book, "P.O.E.T.R.Y.
